I made it to the park run this morning and saw Mel again. Now I’ve just decided to stop worrying about her intentions it was all pretty relaxed, apart from the running. I end up looking so haggard afterwards that I think there’s absolutely zero chance that she’s genuinely interested in me, so it must just have been sympathy that one time. Maybe I should act like I need more sympathy again, because no matter what it means it was fun.

I’m seeing her again on Monday, but at the moment my mind is focussed on thinking of something to get Ellie to do this evening! I feel like it’s a big opportunity and I can’t waste it.
