More on Susan’s Journey

Standard

I’ve posted the final part of Susan’s story on the ASN Story Board. Although, I don’t think it will actually be the final part of Susan’s story, just the final part that I put there. I think there are places I want to take the story that don’t quite fit there, especially if I want more of an over-arching story line. So, Susan will be back, even if she doesn’t appear there again.

For a refresher, the first part, Changing Rooms, is here and the second part, The Hen Party, is here. Susan has learnt a lot on her journey and starts to put it all into effect here. She’s learnt that how she feels about her sexuality is more about the power it gives her than the pleasure it gives to others, and that, at the end of the day, control and choice are the real dictators of whether she wants to be in a given situation or not.

Not to give anything away, but at the end she sets herself apart from her peers and triumphs over an adversary by using everything she knows about herself, and knowing when to break societal conventions. The story is called A Lazy Sunday Morning because I want to emphasise the comfortable position of sexual self-confidence that Susan is increasingly moving towards.

Since I’m brazen about posting favourable links about my stories, here’s one:

A satisfying conclusion to the triptych. Nothing else I can say, I’m speechless.

So I shall remain speechless too, if only for a moment, and just leave another link to the story.

“Changing Rooms” Follow-up

Standard

Changing Rooms was well received, and I enjoyed writing it, so I’ve written a follow-up to it called The Hen Party. In this story, Susan joins some friends and, far from revelling in her voyage of self-discovery, she realises that everything changes when it might affect how a friend perceives you, and how your reputation might spread afterwards.

Susan really raced forwards in Changing Rooms, so this time she takes a bit of a step backwards, and sideways, and has to almost start from scratch again, although keeping with her the knowledge she gained along the way. In The Hen Party she explores her sexuality more widely, comparing how it feels to be touched by either a man or a woman, both of whom are as perfect physical specimens as she could wish for.

The story again brought some nice comments, and I think the ones that point out that it’s not as much fun as Changing Rooms are spot-on. This part is really the middle section of a trilogy, though, and it seems there’s plenty of desire to see it through to the end:

I’ve got your story up next on the reading launching pad and what little I’ve peeked at please take your time with it and I for one enjoy reading slow build ups. I want you to present the story as you planned and don’t leave anything out.

Given that the ending of The Hen Party is a fairly long private scene, I was wondering about whether it was the right material for the ASN Story Board at all, and I think it’s borderline. But then, I think readers will enjoy going along on the journey that Susan’s experiencing, and it can’t all be of the same format, even if it means delaying some of the titillation for a while.

The third part is in progress!

First Short Story Posted

Standard

I’ve put my first short story up on Indian Outlaw’s “ASN Story Board”, a place for stories about “…Stripping, nudity, or ENF”. I’ve enjoyed reading a lot of the stories on the site and was really interested in the process of writing one.

My story has Susan, who has just exited from a relationship, trying to regain her sexual confidence. Of course, the ending is fairly predictable, given how the stories on that site always end up, but it was fun to play with that predictability. It’s like foreplay where you know where it’s all going to end, but anticipating the ending for as long as possible makes the journey just as important, if not more so… (Actually, in my mind, it’s definitely more so.)

I’m rather pleased with the responses the story has had, especially from some of the regulars on the site, and it’s encouraging me to continue it. My favourite, which modesty forbids… oh, the hell it does:

This was truly a great story that was a joy to read. PLEASE tell me that there will be more!! I can see sooo many possibilities now that Susan has experienced her awakening.

The story is called Changing Rooms and I’ll try wrapping it up as a free eBook soon, but in the meantime you can read it here.
