I didn’t want to wear out the boots too quickly, and it rained quite a lot today, so I ended up wearing calf boots and tights and a skirt, but I went for something a bit more transparent than I’d dared with them before, but with a bra underneath. That’s two days in a row that I’ve worn underwear!

When I got back to the office I got called into a meeting with Brian, and I had a terrible feeling that it was either a) Jo is leaving, or something bad like that is happening or b) stop flashing your boobs at everyone.

It was neither, and it was great news. A couple of people I’d met at the start-up’s party had gotten in touch with the company about using us to do their books, and they wanted to set up meetings with me. My stomach churned, but Brian said he’d come with me, or Jo would because we seemed to work well together. Obviously, I’d be showing my face but they’d be doing the talking, but I was grinning from ear-to-ear when I came out so Ha had to ask me what was going on. She seemed actually pleased on my behalf, because she’s not the jealous harpy that I would be if positions were reversed.
