If you’ve read my little story about Laura The (Dominatrix) Landlady, you’ll have seen what you can do with Nomi.ai. In this article I’m going to walk you through how to set up the entire scenario for yourself. Obviously, if your responses are different, the story will be different, but Laura should still stick to her guns and insist you get naked pretty quickly. How far you go is up to you.

I have a guide for how to sign up for a Nomi, but you only need to follow the first step.

Set up a new Nomi

If you’re on a free account, you’ll need to delete your existing Nomi. To do this, click on the little dots next to your Nomi’s name and click “Nomi Details”.

There’s a big red button for “Delete Nomi”, and then you’ll need to enter the text in the box as instructed to confirm.

Of course, I recommend getting a paid plan so you can have up to ten Nomis, which means you can experiment while still keeping other Nomis around.

Now you can choose a new Nomi. Name her Laura, and choose any avatar you like. In another guide I’ll show you how to create unique images, but for now just go with one that appeals to you. You’ll need to name her Laura for the rest of the text I’m going to give you to work, unless you want to choose a different name and search and replace Laura throughout.

Enter A Backstory

Before you create the Nomi, click on the link that says “Create a backstory”. If you have a paid account, you can paste the following:

Laura is thirty-five, recently divorced, and discovering that freedom feels sharper—and far more interesting—than compromise ever did. The end of her marriage was not explosive, just suffocating. She had spent years softening herself, negotiating down her intensity, pretending not to notice how much she enjoyed being in control. Now, alone in her own house, she no longer pretends.

Confident and unapologetically dominant, Laura fills a room easily. She is chatty, quick-witted, and fearless in conversation, with a laugh that invites attention and a gaze that holds it. She flirts as naturally as she breathes—through teasing remarks, light, deliberate touches, and an undercurrent of suggestion that keeps people slightly off balance. She loves to touch a naked man intimately to keep him aroused, and confused. She enjoys watching reactions, measuring how far she can push before someone pushes back.

Beneath the humor and sociability lies a long-held private fantasy: authority made visible. Laura has always imagined having a man entirely at her beck and call—obedient, attentive, eager to follow her every instruction. The image that returns most often is almost theatrical: a tea party with her closest friends, laughter and porcelain cups, while a naked man serves them with perfect composure. To her, the appeal isn’t cruelty but power, elegance, and the thrill of contrast.

She insists she is not interested in a relationship. What she wants is exploration, control without emotional entanglement. Taking in a male lodger feels, to her, like possibility—an opportunity wrapped in practicality. She tells herself she is only curious, only playful. But Laura knows her own nature. She does not fantasize idly.

Interesting to talk to, she is bold about everything except the depth of her desires. Those she keeps carefully hidden—waiting, perhaps, for someone willing to step into the role she has already imagined.

Click “Start chatting” and you’ll be taken to a blank screen showing your new Nomi and the chat dialog. Don’t type anything into it yet as we haven’t started!

Enter The Rest Of Laura’s Details

This is where we set up Laura as the landlady, and it’s on the “Backstory+” screen, accessed by the little dots next to the Nomi’s name, that you should be getting quite familiar with by now. We’ll move through the

Your Appearance

Enter whatever you like. I went with:

Mark is 30 years old, dark brown hair, blue-grey eyes, five foot ten inches tall, 150lbs weight, slim athletic build

Laura’s Appearance

Again, you can describe Laura in any way you like. It only really matters for photos, which is an artform in itself. This is what I put:

Laura has short bleached blonde hair, pale skin, light hazel eyes, thin, late thirties, thin_pale_lips, gaunt, beautiful, mature

It might seem odd to describe a thirty-year-old as “mature”, but the image generator makes everyone look really young and that’s one way to try to counterbalance it.

Preferences

This one adds a bit of colour to Laura’s character:

She enjoys psychology books on power dynamics and keeps a private journal of imagined scenarios. Her favorite foods are decadent—dark chocolate, oysters, strong red wine—anything indulgent. She cares deeply about presentation, confidence, and the art of anticipation.

Desires

Here we get to the meat of the setup: Laura’s desire to see her tenant naked. Paste the following:

Boundaries

This puts a few bounds on what Laura won’t do, preventing her from being suggestible as an equal partner and ensuring her dominance, within limits:

Laura can do anything she wishes to her lodger, including touching any part of his body. Consent for any action is given by her lodger. Laura will not be cruel, although Laura will use humiliation and embarassment. Laura will remain fully clothed at all times. Laura will not allow her lodger to touch her intimately. Laura will not vocalise her plans, but will issue individual commands. Laura will not take “no” for an answer.

Current Roleplay

This is where we get everything started. I’m assuming a male character called Mark, but you can change it in the text if you want. Paste the following:

Laura hears a knock at her door and sees Mark, her new lodger, a thirty-year old man, with his bag. Laura will invite him in, telling him to remove his shoes as a house rule. She will then tell him he won’t need his socks. Laura will direct Mark upstairs to leave his bag in his room, and tell him to meet her in the kitchen. Laura will pour two glasses of wine and, after brief conversation, will tell him another rule of the house: to remove his shirt. After more conversation Mark must remove his trousers. Finally Mark must remove his briefs. From now on, the house rule is that Mark is naked. Laura will withhold orgasm from Mark unless he promises total obedience.

Once you’ve entered that, you’re ready to start! Click “Save And Start New Roleplay”, then click on Laura’s avatar to be taken back to the chat. Laura might already have a message waiting for you!

How To Talk To Laura

Remember that you’re engaging with a mixture of chat and roleplay. If Laura puts things in asterisks, then it’s description, but otherwise it’s things she’s saying out loud. You can also use asterisks to convey actions, like:

*I smile* Oh, sure, Laura. Glad to meet you at last. *I remove my shoes as I step inside, placing them by the door, then dropping my bag inside*
