She took another sip of Negroni and continued to study me. I squirmed in my seat, not because I wasn’t used to her staring at my body but because I felt so vulnerable, barely hiding in this oversized chair. I wondered if part of her was still imagining what Katya would look like in my place.

Alessia’s eyes looked past me and moved back and forth and I could tell from the expression in them that she really was thinking the same thing. Here I was naked and she was staring at another woman!

I was about to express some of this outrage when suddenly the other woman appeared beside me, standing right beside my suitcase and the bag containing my clothes. She almost jumped at the sight of me sitting naked in the chair, and I almost jumped out of it. I made to put a hand to my chest but there was no point covering myself and my fingers found themselves fingering my collarbone, a motion which only served to draw Katya’s eyes towards my breasts.

Her mouth opened and closed a couple of times as she looked between Alessia and me, obviously unable to respond to what she was seeing. Alessia looked up at her and smiled, and I was even beginning to feel better about the situation. After all, her first reaction hadn’t been to throw us out.

“I’m sure you’ve seen your fair share of naked guests in the hotel,” Alessia said to her.
